Our Mission

Caring for a loved one with dementia can leave you feeling scared, frustrated, overwhelmed, and alone. We know and we can help.  Jamie started DSG while she was caring for her Mother with Alzheimer's disease.

Throughout the years Jamie has worked with many professionals from physicians, senior living and home care professionals as well as hospice providers. She has a great respect for the work they do and the demands of those professions.  

While caring for her Mother, Jamie experienced what seemed like every roadblock and made what felt like every mistake. At that point, she began an intensive journey to learn everything she could about dementia. She has been trained and certified by the Alzheimer's Association, the National Council of Dementia Practitioners, Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, and the Society of Senior Advisors. She has completed hundreds of hours of self-study and has worked with and learned from some of the most reknowed specialists in the field of cognitive decline.
